The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has made some changes in the examination schedule for both the classes of 10 and 12. In a recent circular, NIOS stated, owing to the conduct of state assembly elections as well as bye-elections on October 21, 2019 (Monday) the examinations of secondary and senior secondary courses October-November 2019 shall stand postponed to November 4, 2019, for All India exam centers only.

NIOS is an Open Schooling system initiative by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India taken in 1989. It was initially an effort by CBSE, which was collectively been launched and implemented as NOS (National Open School). The NOS was been changed to NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) in 2012. The primary objective of it was to provide flexible access to quality education and skill development through open and distant learning to every section of society.

National Institute of Open Schooling NIOS has declared the notification for the admission in secondary (10th) and Senior Secondary (12th) 2020 Applications are invited before the last date. Aspirants who want to get admission in class X and class XII they hurry up and fill the application form and get admission in NIOS. Interested candidates may fill the application form.
