India is the 9th largest civil aviation market in the world and is expected to be amongst the top five nations in the world in the next 10 years in the aviation sector. The Phenomenal growth of the aerospace industry in India is reflected in the participation of private industry. As the aerospace industry is growing at 18%, it is bound to generate an estimated 2.6 million jobs in the next decade as stated by Dr. Nasim Zaide, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation.
