This field is defined by the application of fashion’s ever changing search for expression and conceptualization to other creative professions as well by the production of clothes and accessories. Fashion design program trains the students to use color, fabric and ornamentation to craft different fashion items. Students are educated about recent fashion trends and learn about basic business and merchandising principles. They learn the techniques of patternmaking, draping and garment construction along with developing the understanding of materials and traditional skills of surface ornamentation.
